The short version

Pennywise does not collect, store, or share any of your data with anyone. Everything stays on your device. That's it. That's the policy.

Data we store (locally, on your device)

• Item names, prices, photos, and locations you enter
• Your salary and work hours (if you choose to set them up)
• Your decisions (pass or buy) and when you made them

All of this is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework in your device's local storage. We cannot see it, access it, or retrieve it.

Data we do NOT collect

• No analytics or usage tracking
• No crash reports sent anywhere
• No advertising identifiers
• No device fingerprinting
• No location data
• No contacts, calendar, or health data
• No cookies or web tracking
• No account creation or email addresses

Permissions we ask for

• Camera — Only if you choose to take a photo of an item. Photos are stored locally and never uploaded.
• Notifications — To remind you after your cooldown period. These are local notifications generated on your device, not sent from a server.

Third-party services

None. Zero. We use no third-party SDKs, no analytics platforms, no ad networks, no cloud services. The app works entirely offline.

Data sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or transmit your data to anyone, ever. There is no server to send it to.

Data deletion

Delete any item by tapping it and choosing "Delete." To remove all data, delete the app. Since everything is local, deleting the app removes everything permanently.

Children's privacy

Pennywise does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app does not collect data from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy, we'll update it within the app. But honestly, our policy is "we don't collect your data" and that's not going to change.
